On Norwegian radio

In April 2011, I went to St. Petersburg with NRK journalist Torkild Jemterud. We made a series of programmes, mainly for EKKO, a programme about science and life itself. In this part, you can hear about our search for the German mathematician Leonard Euler, who lived in Russia in the 18th century.

This one was also for Argument, that controversial student mag. The piece illustrates an article about EU, an organisation the author describes as an old ship barely afloat, but still sailing.

As a freelancer I've done some occasional work for the English-language newspaper St. Petersburg Times, a publication for expats living in this fantastic city as well as for Russians who enjoy reading their news in English. The two pieces included here is a feature on religious affiliations in the federal republic of Tatarstan, and one on a newly-established bookstore in a St. Petersbrug backyard.
